January 15, 2021 - Soul Dream
I woke up from a dream where I was catching someone stealing a bunch of money from someone I had just connected with and had an incredible conversation with. I called a friend for help and they came and handled the situation until others could come. We were appreciated and loved for stepping in and helping. While we were waiting for more help, I was talking to the friend that helped me. The more we talked the more in sync and light hearted we got. We talked about our most recent experiences and then shifted into a space of talking about what our vision for the future was. The entire time we chatted I was noticing the woman that stole the money was sitting with what she had done. It’s like I could see her mind justifing why and her heart breaking simultaneously. Finally the others arrived.
Everyone sat down together and stayed in an open state of understanding and care for the future of this woman. Once we all felt aligned we brought her into our circle and sat silent ready to hear her speak. Her first words were her mind running on full steam. She was blaming and criticizing everyone, she was defending herself and explaining how the life she has lived was so unfair and hard. I saw her heart continue to break while her mind spoke. Her eyes filled with tears. No one in our group had to say a word, we all just felt so much love for the soul that was inside this woman. She let out a big release of tears and the words that came next were her soul. She said, “I feel like my needs aren’t being met.”
I woke up from my dream and laid in my bed for a little while. How often do we find ourselves in a problem that we created just because we feel like our own needs aren’t being met? We blame others around us, hurt the people around us, blame our situation, our environment, our past, but we missing some key points when we do this. We are all capable of meeting our own internal needs just by listening to the soul inside of us and loving them with everything we’ve got. That action alone changes and shifts the way we see the world outside of us even when the world outside of us hasn’t changed at all. What if we lived in a world full of people who were willing to sit with our own and others minds until we reached the soul?
