Book Club with Amanda
$10.00

Join me every Saturday at 11:30est for a book club to listen to the audible A Happy Pocketful of Money by David Cameron Gikandi
————————
A mindfulness inspired money book that is quite basic.  Starts with an attempt to challenge you on how you perceives things.  In essence you are what you are in that moment.  If you can increase the power of your subconscious mind you can raise awareness of things by focusing on them and then you get more of these thing.

Suggest you should visualise things as if you have them in the present and the universe will bring them to you. Has some interesting suggestions about having goals, says you should have at least 5000 goals, to me this seems a foolish idea. Goes on to elaborate the reason behind this is that your only goal shouldn’t be to be financially wealthy.  It should be to have the things that you can buy with wealth, as remember this is a book about money after all. Financial wealth in itself is nothing, it’s the things that financial wealth allows you to do is important.

Then mentions you should change your state to be one of wealth.  If you feel you’re wealthy then you are wealthy, rather than looking at your bank account which can potentially short circuit this process and stop your from acquiring wealth. Also includes advice such as spending less than you earn and utilise compound interest which is contained as a theme in any book on gaining financial wealth.
